New postPosted: Thu Jun 30, 2011 9:50 am

Hello everyone, I was just surfing in the internet and ended to google sites :D
So, I made a website there, heres a link:batupata

Currently only one tutorial, but I'll make more. :P

Give me some feedback please, I'm kinda lost when making a website. (Even though I don't have to know any HTML :))

Oh, I see :D I changed the logo today, my friend kindly made that one because he's lot better when it comes to illustrator. Trying to find a setting to fix that problem. Well if I can't find it I probably must to shrink the logo size. But thanks for informing me :D

P.S Should I make a tutorial which informs the basics of VB.net? :P

Thanks for acknowledging dude ! It's not a problem with high res displays but the problem may creep in when browsing through an iPad or netbook. I think you should begin from the basics. My experience says you are a terrific programmer (I have checked your apps ) so why not share the knowledge? It would even help me greatly ! I have never used VB.net before..... :D

Try starting from say :

i.) Installing VB.net in Windows, basic configuration.
ii.) Positives or Negatives of VB.net, if it's a targeted or general language.
iii.) Syntax similarity with any other programming language (if any).
iv.) Tips for programmers if they want to start learning programming using VB.net.
v.) A simple "hello world" project.
vi.) Analyzing the "hello world" code.
v.) Declarations, variable types........you know the drill.

I know it's kinda tough and may sound big...but you have the potential. It will take time...but if you can continue...not only your site be a boon for starters/referential data collectors, you can even monetize it.

Looking forward to a great site from you....

Share the knowledge.

Thanks for help, Jeet! I have kinda self-learned vb.net, it's so clear when comparing to other languages :D.
I'll start writing the basics.

And if any of you are following them, I must admit that because I'm self-learned, I like to go the easy way with simple programming (even there would be a way with a less code).
