No, no. Usually we get full RSS feeds as opposed to a useless paragraph.

;)

I'm sure Rich has a perfectly good explanation. It'd be nice to have them back if possible. I just don't see the point of RSS feeds if they only give a tid-bit and then require you to go to the site to read the rest....just go to the site in the first place and save your bandwidth on polling your RSS feeds.

Temporarily had to disable them as RSS hits are double site hits and killing bandwidth right now. I'm set to go over my bandwidth limit this month already (will fix that by purchasing more) but it came out of the blue (can't complain about extra traffic) and is going to run me approx $150 in overages :(

EDIT: I also noticed most big sites doing the same lately, so it may not be changing any time soon. Here's a post to try to see if you can get full feeds anyway: http://maketecheasier.com/4-great-ways- ... 2011/04/24

If anyone tries the methods, please let me know which ones work.

Jeez Rich... way to increase your site traffic and make things more inconvenient for all of us... ;)

My guess is the Windows 8 rumors. When you started running Windows 7 stuff a couple of years ago I remember a humongous jump in site activity as well. Keep it up!

Ah, i see. Thanks for the explanation :)
I had noticed that most sites nowadays are providing a teaser paragraph only. That's one of the things that kept us apart!
I didn't realise they were effectively doubling the sites bandwidth.
