Hello, Doesn't windows come with a default file opener. I can never open a zip file. Thanks Bikrdad

Win7 and Win8 come with it integrated into Windows/File Explorer.

1. Right click any zip file and select properties. 2. Click the Change button next to where it says Open 3. In the Open with window select Windows Explorer from the list of programs If you do not see Windows Explorer in the list above then click Browse and manually select Explorer.exe located at C:\Windows\explorer.exe 4. Tick Always use the selected program... and click OK
1) open cmd with administrative rights 2) type: cmd /c assoc .zip=CompressedFolder and hit enter 3) reboot
