 Post subject: Windows error 193 with iTunes

I have had I tunes on my computer for years, but the last update did not install properly and I got the message - iTunes did not install properly - iTunes error 7, windows error 193. I have uninstalled ITunes a couple of times and tried to install it again, but got the same message. I am on Windows 7, :x 64 bit. Any ideas guys.
