For this post the author Batupata has received thanks - 3: alpenadiver, Rich, Stu

If you you want to remove the annoying shortcut icon, you can do it like this:

METHOD 1
1. Go to Registry Editor (Winkey + R and write regedit)
2. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile
3. Delete string named IsShortcut
4. Do same to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile
Relog and enjoy

METHOD 2
Download this .zip file and extract it
Attachment:
Remove Shortcut Arrow.zip

Change Shortcut Arrow
1. Open Registry Editor (Winkey + R and write regedit)
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Icons
3. Make new string value named 29
4. Find an icon and copy its path to string value and add ,0 to the end of value like this:
"C:\Users\Patu\Desktop\MyIcons\Windows 7 (183).ico",0
Relog and enjoy!

You can use these icons as well
Attachment:
Icons.zip

This is how they look on cmd.exe
