Hello. I have a question regarding the post. I connect through a broadband connection to the internet. When I need to go to the internet connection and click properties..so I can check the sharing internet option...which one I chose precisely? Local Area Connection, Wireless Network Connection or Broadband Connection ( these 3 I have)? Thank you for your post and sorry if my question is a little dumb ( not a computer geek

) Good day.
There are no dumb questions

Do you want to connect to your Broadband connection via your computer's wireless connection or via
Ethernet cable?
To change:
Start Menu > Control Panel > Network & Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings.
Right click the adapters you don't want to use and choose Disable. (Disconnected or unused adapters will display a small red cross in its icon (Tip: set the icons in this window to display as "Tiles"))
You should be able to tell which adapter is for which job. Local Area Connection will likely be for your Ethernet cable, Wireless Network Connection for your wireless etc.
