 Post subject: Send email from event viewer

Has anyone managed to send e-mails from event viewer when a computer restarts?

If so what Event ID did you use?

I was last trying No 6006 but it didn't send anymail, i try to use the same SMTP server I use to the printer, in this and wrote down the IP number in the field for SMTP.

Any idea how it should be done.
