This is rather odd and never saw this happened to me and was unable to figure out a solution.

There are two laptops running win 7, Ultimate and Professional.

Enable Remote:

1. Remote Assistant
2. Allow connections from this computer running any version of Remote Desktop (Less Secure).

2.1 - I like to use Allow connect only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication (more secure)

A. Select Users
B. Add
C. Advanced > Find Now > Everyone Then click ok.

None of the above worked. #2. I made the connection, but after the pop up message to add the PW, that worked. Upon connecting to RDP remote, it tells me that I have the wrong password. I have the correct password.

I tried 2.1 settings above, they don't work either. I am just getting back to RDP that I have not used in years so I'm rusty in that department. I have Googled similar problems but didn't work for me.

I have checked the password for the machine I wanted to connect, did warm reboot, cleared cache, temp files, Flush DNS, etc... Nothing worked.

Any thoughts?
