What FREE Antivirus protection do you use? Please cast your vote for one of the products listed. I've tried to list some of the more commonly used free products, but the list is by no means all inclusive. I'll adjust the entries as needed to reflect members use.

Keep in mind we are talking 100% FREE to use software here .. not free to download or free to try.

Check the poll regularly and see what software your peers are using. It just might help you decide what to use or to change your configuration. Remember, the goal here is to help keep protected.

Although I don't use AVG on any of my computers anymore, I still think it's a really good product (if not a little bloated.)

AVG [7.5!], Avira and Avast 4.8 ..... I have used and liked all 3 of them! However, Avast 4.8 is my AV of choice now for both my PCs.

I've used Avast! since 2007 and have never had one problem. Good thing I stumbled on it in a review on free software on PCWorld!
