I'm running 3 fans at the moment. 2 X 120 mm blue led case fans; one for exhaust on back of case and one for intake on front of case for my hard drives. The third fan is on my cpu; A Thermaltake MaxOrb 120 mm blue led cpu cooler.

I have an 80mm drawing air in at the front.
A 120mm exhaust.
Exhaust fan on my CPU's heatsink

The usual graphics card fan and PSU fan.

Nothing too fancy but it's quiet and keeps cool enough :)

Mike; when you get the fan controller and all hooked up and working. let me know how it went and any difficulties you may have encountered. You have peaked my interest with that one. Maybe some pictures of the installation and wiring hookup or a nice video of it.
