Hey everyone, I finally wrote and posted a new article for the main Mintywhite page. Take a peek at it and let me know what you think.

And to encourage some discussion on the topic (while I wait for it to circulate around Twitter, Facebook, etc. and gain some comments), what do you think are the most worthwhile PC upgrades (most for your money?)

Nicely done! I didn't know that SSDs had come down so much in price. I'd love to find a reasonably-priced one in the 80GB-120GB range to put my old Dell Inspiron 6000 back in service. (I've had nothing but trouble with HDDs in that one, for some reason.)

RAM, RAM and more RAM! I have 6GB in my laptop and it has yet to run out of RAM. And Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit, as long as you don't still have any Win9x-era programs that you have to keep, as I do. Some of them just won't work, period, so I still have my 1997(?) AMD K6/233 tower for a couple of those (it's not costing me anything to keep it!).
