first of all here are the PC specs:
- MB: Asus M2N-X PLUS
- CPU: AMD Athlon X2 5000+ @ 2600 MHz
- Monitor: Asus VW195D
- GPU: Gigabyte nVidia 8500 GT 256MB
- OS: Windows XP SP 3 (32 bit)
The problem is as following,
the current screen resolution is 1360x768 but the native monitor resolution is 1440x900
it wouldn't be a problem at all if the letters and pictures weren't blurry
the nVidia software gives me the option to create a custom resolution and i did so because the native monitor resolution isn't there
when I apply the custom/native resolution all i get is part of the desktop, as i move the mouse the screen slides to the end, bottom/top or right/left
the monitor is currently connected to the DVI out, if i connect the monitor to the VGA out the problem is still there
Any suggestions are welcome.
TIA !
