Here's mine as of today, Oct. 9, 2011: Note: The two folders represent the classes I'm taking to finish my degree. Like Stu, I do not like having a plethora of Folders or icons on my desktop as I run them from "Start" menu, efficiently.

Thanks man... I like things to be simple and nothing complex.
There is two (2) of them and my FF 7.01 crashed as I was having issues. I can't remove the second one... There is no "x" or any other way to remove it... I have started to notice FF 7.0.1 has been crashing more than v6... emmm...
I know why I can't remove the second post of my screenshot is because you posted already, which does not allow me to remove except edit. hopefully Stu/Rich/Mike will be able to remove it for me.

Here's mine: Just a picture and couple folders, I don't like either to fill the entire desktop.

Looks sweet Batupata... I know an ex-colleague used to have icons cover every square inch of her desktop!! I was so completely annoyed and distracted.. LOL

Thanks! You guys also have cool-looking desktops! If it's completely covered with icons and folders, do you find anything there? And my image was taken from the balcony
