I just saw someone else used the old "post repeatedly to get teh count up" method. I'm not going to do that (yeah, sure I'm not).

Windows Vista offers powerful aids to tuue up the system and make sure it works sooothly. All this hype about Registry Cleaners is just that: first use Vista's inbuilt tools to improve performance and you will not need to use a "Cleaner" unless your system is many years old which is unlikely with Vista.

Further to my last post, in case you are not quite sure how to use the performance tools on Vista the route map is as follows:
Start>Control Panel>System Maintenance>Performance Information & Tools> AdvancedTools> Performance Issues
If any items are listed under Performance Issues get rid of them by clicking on the issue and then removing it from the list. This will have the effect of speeding up logging off and shutdown and sometimes even booting up.
Hope this is of use.
