Here's a another program about changing Windows' default icons - pretty sure the last one :D
I have made this from the spring, finally got rid of the problems :)
Remember to start as admin!

So here's the screenshots;

To be honest i would rather customize this sort of stuff my self through the registry than use a third party program ;)

Bit weary of using programs to do stuff like this :D ;)

Should've been a bit more cautious myself. Now a whole host of icons are borked. I've tried several fixes. Any ideas Batu?

what do the icons look like?

I take it you tried resetting your icon cache? You might have to replace the Shell32.dll to maybe fix the problem.

Hmm I have always used this and none of my icons are broken, I tried this rsrv and I got no errors.
Resetting the icon should help: You can use system restore or then check help from here:

I've done a system restore (as soon as it happened), tried deleting the Icon Cache amongst other things all to no avail.
What's very odd is that the mis-display seems to be random.
Sorry Batu, i can't see anything relevant in the FixWin app.
