Post subject: Dual booting Windows 8 Enterprise RTM and Windows 7
New postPosted: Fri Sep 07, 2012 8:19 pm

Hey everybody. I am currently running the 90 day evaluation of Windows 8 Enterprise RTM. It took over the boot loader. I can still boot into 7, Vista, and Ubuntu, but how do I get Windows 7 boot loader back after the 90 days are up? My first intention is to delete the Windows 8 partition, then run my 7 repair disk and use command prompt to rebuild, repair and fixboot. Would this be a safe method to pursue? Thanks in advance.

How to Geek just gave me my answer. I have used Easy BCD in the past, and it looks like this is the simplest way to get rid of windows 8, get 7 boot loader back, and regain the previous made partition.
