After less than a year, Google have dropped Google Wave. I never did catch on (and don't remember the last time a. I though about Google Wave b. Logged on to Google Wave.)

Shame, but the right thing to do. As soon as it was released (far too early IMO) it was a flop due to the crappy performance and new concept people just aren't willing to learn about.

Plus the whole invite thing really didn't work out too well. Too many people wanted to try it but didn't have an invite. If I remember correctly, we helped about 1,000 people get invites but I still fell 5/600 short on invites after it all.
