For this post the author Batupata has received thanks - 2: Rich, Stu

If you often restart explorer or other processes with task manager, this one is useful to you.

Kill process: Open up notepad and write this in it
@echo off
taskkill /f /IM processname.exe

Start process:
@echo off
processname.exe

Restart:
@echo off
taskkill /f /IM processname.exe
processname.exe

Then save it as .bat file and put it wherever you want.

Heres example with explorer and MagicDisk
@echo off
taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe
taskkill /f /IM magicdisk.exe
explorer.exe
magicdisk.exe

Reply if that was useful :D

Nice tutorial.

You can do the same with Services (services.msc). ;)

hello,
when applying bat file i get "process could not start... press ok to terminate" here's my list:

@echo off
taskkill /f /IM conhost.exe
taskkill /f /IM lxczcoms.exe
taskkill /f /IM lxczjswx.exe
taskkill /f /IM lxczpswx.exe
taskkill /f /IM schedul2.exe
