For this post the author Batupata has received gratitude : Rich

If you do not want to write your passwords when you start your computer, it can be done easily with Windows' Registry editor.
You can also set the user you want to log on.

Manual method:
1. Open Registry Editor (Winkey+R and write regedit.exe)
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
3. You see should two strings there; AutoAdminLogon and DefaultUsername
4. Change AutoAdminLogon from 0 to 1
5. And change DefaultUsername to username you want to log on
6. Create new String, and name it as DefaultPassword
7. Set DefaultPassword to users password you want to log on

Nothing at all I suppose.....I mean, a no password is equivalent to auto login...

... Only if you don't have any other users defined on the PC ...
If you have multiple users defined to the PC, the autologin will set up the named user's environment automagically when the PC is turned on. Otherwise, the user will be presented with the list of users, and will have to click on the appropriate user to log on. No password set will simply skip the request for the password and proceed with the login.
