The User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded
If you are having problems logging in an getting an error saying the above just follow the simple steps below to resolve the issue;
Firstly sign into another Windows account, but if you are unable to get into windows even after a few tries try and to it in safe mode 'F8'.
Then run the registry editor.
Navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList.Look
at the sub-keys here in the form of S-1-5-21-
One of them is probably duplicated with the extension “.bak.”
Remove (or backup) the one without the .bak
, and then rename the remaining one, removing the .bak
Restart your PC & hopefully it should fixed!
This fix is for Windows 7 & Vista.
