I thought this ebook might be useful to all, from "geeks to newbies". It's by Mike Halsey [an MVP no less!] - Its now available to read online for free. PDF here: http://www.thelongclimb.com/books/win7powerfree.pdf

"If you live in the EU IE will not be installed by default on Windows 7"..........errr WRONG!!!

(also see the section on installing AV software (P.13) -- laughable!)

I'm stopping here. PDF in trash.

Edit: I understand how much time + work goes into these books; mine was a fraction of the size of this and it took a long time to finish but there's just too many of these 'Dummy' books for Windows 7. It really needs to stand out from the rest which this doesn't.
