Avast

I also have been using Avast for about three years now and am very happy with it, I used to use McAfee and always had problems, so a friend of my from Germany told me about Avast and that is how I started using it and am very happy I did.

@ John 101 - Yeah I agree,it's the best freebie AV .... no adware,updates daily.... it's cool! 8-)

I used to use AVG but find Avast far superior.

private4587 - Yeah I agree with you about Avast, but I'm looking forward to the final release of MSE [Microsoft Security Essentials] in September,or there abouts. It's the new AV from microsoft that will replace Live OneCare and if you google it you can read some of the favourable reviews on MSE. I find that Avast on my pc's is now getting quite bloated and MSE seems like it might be a good alternative to Avast.
