There are many speed maximiser if you would like to stick with IE. IE is necessary for windows updates. Look at ashampoo

Dont forget to clean history and cookies. Also sometime some antivirus interfer with IE and makes slower browsing.

informative!!. i followed your tips and now my download speed increased. i checked my speed through speed tests like Ip-Details.com

it's for people who have REAL IP adress ... not a Shared IP address .. a.k.a broadband connection , through another domain's , when you have limitations over traffic and boosts !
