 Post subject: Methods Stream Audio/video/Radio through house/building
New postPosted: Thu Sep 11, 2014 9:38 pm

Found a cheaper way to do this (depending on your setup)

-Instead of using a network to put audio/video files to other locations on your network via local server, they have a way that is now cheaper and practical for some uses called an

wireless AV Sender, Which converts the output of cables, (think physical layer osi model) to wireless radio signals and a receiver. I've found cheap ones for about $40;

A reason I am considering this technology is
difficulties in streaming blu-ray
-can't get UPNP/DLNA to work with devices

This will also be useful for streaming radio;

I've also read about other technologies such as coaxial networks instead of CAT5/6... Feel free to list others please...

I wonder if walkie talkie can be streamed through the AV Sender?
