How an addition to Suggestion Box: CLI for Windows, Mac (FreeBSD Terminal) and Linux? Update: I do have plans to expand upon previous guides showing CLI tips. If you don't have it already, I recommend you try PowerShell: http://mintywhite.com/vista/powershell- ... alculator/
We have a lot of suggestions for Linux; however, it's not a fit for Windows Guides and I'm not looking to add more sites right now. I really want to focus on Windows for the time being.
Perhaps you can pay these guys a visit: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions ... forums-50/ [Rich]I would like to see an array of CLI's, Tips and Tricks....though I don't use it often to remember everything.... Just thought I would ask.. Cheers

Don't pay a lot of attention to the megapix count, you can pay less than sixty quid for a 10 megapix camera but you only get what you pay for.

The number is just a sales figure. It's the quality of those pixels that makes a difference. I still use an old Sony 5MP camera and love the quality of the shots -- much better than a 12 MP Canon I also have.

I would like to see a review about Ready Boost in Windows 7. Does it really help you out when you need some extra performance or does it just look like it helps you out ? Update: Guide here that applies to W7, tooIt surely can't be like you actually went out and bought some RAM, but how good is Ready Boost actually. Is it gonna help me out with the my daily tasks/multitasking. TIA.

I agree, an article on it would be a good one!
Just a quick reply to your questions. I personally don't think ReadyBoost is any good. I've got 3GB RAM installed and have tried RB. I saw no noticeable gain in performance. For the £10 you'd spend on an 3GB Flash Drive for RB, you may as well chuck in a few extra quid and buy an extra GB RAM ... you'd notice that much more.

I just googled this and from what I gather, If your computer has less than 1 GB of RAM Readyboost will have an effect.
However... Your 2.0 usb port is slower than your FSB, so don't expect any amazing results
FSB = Short for Front Side Bus, also known as the Processor Bus, Memory Bus, or System Bus and connects the CPU with the main memory. The FSB can range from speeds of 66 MHz, 133 MHz, 100 MHz, 266 MHz, 400 MHz, and up

I'm not sure how difficult it might be, but might you add Tapatalk functionality?
Edit: Nevermind on this, I've found that most of my forums are dropping Tapatalk...oh well.

I'll take a look in the next few days to read more about it. EDIT: Looked into this more and I see you need the paid version of the app to reply to posts/start new topics. As this narrows the usergroup significantly, I won't be implementing Tapatalk while this restriction remains in place.

I only ask because most of my other forums [Android and otherwise] use it.

A "how to" for texting from Outlook or any other email client for that matter. There are times when I just don't want to stop what I'm doing in Outlook to answer my Blackberry text messages. Why can't I respond directly from my email client? Thanks Rich, this is the best site on the net. David Update: Thanks for your appreciative feedback.
I haven't looked into texting from Outlook but, if you're not already using it, I highly recommend Google Voice--say goodbye to texting from your phone [Rich]
