Hi, yesterday I did a restore system back to factory setting on my Sony Vaio Laptop PCG-5GEP which runs on windows vista. After that I installed the Windows Vista Service Pack 1 cause I needed it to installed Visual Studio 2010. But since then there are no sound coming out from the computer (videos, skype, music etc). But surprisingly there is startup sound everytime I turn on the computer, but that is it, no more other sounds coming out.

I did a Update Driver in Device Manager for sound, but it says I have the latest version.

Anyone please help?
p.s the volume is on max, not muted.

Hi there thanks for the reply. I download the "fix it" and ran it, but no problem was found. However there are still no sound coming out from my laptop.
