For this post the author Shane has received gratitude : Stu

iaStor.sys is an Intel driver, suggesting that the aforementioned driver is either installed incorrectly or has become corrupt.

The following is applicable to any driver in this situation.

A recommendation would be to press F8 when booting just before Windows loads and enter safe mode. Upon that loading, uninstall the driver in question. Reboot. Upon the next boot it won't use said driver; now you can try reinstalling it from your manufacturer's website, or in this case perhaps directly from Intel.

If you can't get to Windows due to BSOD, go to this website:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927392

This should hopefully fix the problem but the issues your having with iaStor.sys is an Intel Rapid Storage Device program that is used for your USB when you insert a portable storage.

Can you get to the system via Safe Mode at all? If you can, you can uninstall it and create a new install. If you can boot to windows, use the like I gave you by MS KB927392... That should hopefully resolve the issues. I used it, but it does not always work. If it doesn't, try to use a restore point, if thta don't work, then your best bet is to start over fresh.

As always, create an image after you install Windows so your not left having to redo everything over again that canb take hours. Just my opinion..
