Makcalable, did you mean to inform me about the Google Toolbar not being available for Firefox, or are you asking me? If the latter, it most definitely is still available, for both Firefox and IE.
I like it because one can customize the toolbar with preferred icons with tabs. I've been trying to find out if there are any other toolbar entities of the same genre.... [

Maybe still available but Google is not supporting Firefox with the Google Toolbar as they say it will be discontinued.
Google are having fun and games with Firefox at present and this is one of many things that is causing many issues for many people.... your issue and the fact the Toolbar will not allow FF users to upgrade.
Who knows what other issues there are
