Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a question, I don't know much about computers. I installed Norton security on
my computer, and a friend had me get Tune up Utilities as well, was that the right thing to do? or is that like having two security
programs on my computer? I'm a bit confused .... Thank you

Norton Security will protect you from malicious software such as a virus, spyware etc.
TuneUp Utilities is software you can use to customise (& "tune-up") your system ie. Stop startup programs, clean the registry, clean temp files etc. It is not security software.

Neither softwares are on my recommended list though you can have both installed if you wish.

I'm with Stu on this one, I wouldn't ever use Norton or TuneUp ..... but if you are happy with them then so be it.

nahh Norton is a resource hog ...and Tune up is good AIO for making your PC faster ..Specielly for normal user

I will propose a different view. I am an Norton user and I really admire Norton. It's super fast, snazzy with clean interface and ~99.93% detection rate, all this with less than 100MB RAM usage. not to mention their customer support is awesome ! It is fully functional out of the box and just protects. I am sure you'll soon fall in love with it.
I am also an Tune Up user and I must mention it's also a superb piece of software. It's keep your PC fast and smooth. Do try the program deactivator function, you'll love it !.
