Any body else experiencing any lag in this site's webpage load time or is it just me. I am using IE 8, Firefox and Google chrome and all three have the same lag time, before it use to just load up pretty fast. Load time before just over 2 seconds, now it takes about 8 to 10 seconds. Then switching between pages on the site is even longer about 15 seconds.

@ bassfisher - Yep, I reckon it's the site and not your PC. I have 2 PCs and the same kind of thing happens to me too, on both of them. Sometimes am unable to log on to this site at all! [Whilst at the same time as not being able to log onto THIS site I am able to log on to a plethora of other sites with no problem at all, so it's definitely just this site that seems to be the problem ...... NOT my PCs or my connection!]

Seeing that your a mod on here, do you have any insight on the how's and why's of this problem and if they are working on a fix for this. I also had the login problem awhile back but I haven't seen that issue for some time now. 1 out of 2 is not to bad I guess.....I'm still here.

I know from talking to Rich that he's pretty much always had server problems (meaning... he doesn't want to fork out huge amounts of $$$, but the volume on the site just keeps growing and every so often there are periods of slow loading before he finally upgrades his server). At least that's what I thought he was saying I haven't had any serious load problems for a long time, but I probably log on at different times than you.

Yeah, I too understood it to be the servers that Rich uses that seems to cause this problem but it didn't really bother me too much because I new exactly why this was happening ....... and that it wasn't a connection or a PC problem at my end!

Thanks Mike and randomchaos. Well at least I know now it's a server issue on that end. Does Rich need the hat to be passed around for some donations to upgrade his units. I'll gladly add to the hat.....lol.

Websites like this are always in need of generous people to donate. The upkeep of servers etc. can be an expensive game.
Though a donate button can't be found and Rich doesn't actively ask for donations, any donations are very welcomed and appreciated.

Though i'll just say, i don't experience the slowness you and randomchaos have and have never been unable to log in. The only things that i find slow down the site are the 3rd party plugins (wibiya toolbar, TinyPic, JSKit comments etc.)

I don't know what happened but today I'm flying on this site. Looks like I have to shake the cob webs off my wallet and donate.
